As the head of the Health & Technology Innovation Center at Christiana Care, Catherine is responsible for creating an environment that accelerates idea generation and innovation. She drives the innovation strategy by executing on those ideas as well as championing new and emerging technologies that have the potential to disrupt health care as we know it today.
Catherine directs the day to day operations of the Center and its dedicated team of award winning designers, developers, and analysts.
To date, the Innovation Center has developed more than 35 custom applications. Each app started as a project initiated because of a unique opportunity – an idea from a member of the Christiana Care team to introduce improvements and efficiencies in a way not offered commercially.
With over 20 years in the technology industry, Catherine has earned several professional distinctions and honors from IT professional associations and journals, such as Information Week Magazine’s “Twenty Great Ideas to Steal” and Computerworld’s Honors Program “Top Five” recognition.
Catherine received a bachelor’s degree from University of Delaware, and an MS from Wilmington University. She also holds several certifications in usability and user experience.
